Right Home Technology Solutions Ltd is an early-stage property technology company building Zambia's first dedicated digital marketplace for home buying and letting. Its platform will connect consumers, landlords and estate agents across the country.

The product is currently in development, and the company is assembling its core team to take the platform from idea to launch.

Job Overview

Right Home Technology Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Lead to drive the development and launch of its digital property marketplace in Lusaka.

Reporting directly to the Founder, the successful candidate will serve as the operational lead for the platform build, taking ownership of project delivery from vendor management through to go-to-market. The role offers significant autonomy over day-to-day execution and an opportunity to influence the company's growth and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the project plan, milestones and timeline for the web platform, mobile app and estate agent portal.
• Manage the IT development partner and other contractors, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, quality standards and deadlines.
• Coordinate activities between the Founder, technical teams, estate agent partners and external stakeholders.
• Identify project delivery risks early and propose practical solutions.
• Design and manage the onboarding programme for Zambian estate agents, including licensing agreements.
• Monitor Zambia's property and technology markets to inform product development and business priorities.
• Track the project budget and support milestone-based vendor payments.
• Mentor and oversee the Associate Project Lead.
• Provide regular project progress reports to the Founder.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 4–6+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a project lead, programme management or senior operations role.
• Proven experience managing technology development projects or digital product launches.
• Must be a Zambian national or legally permitted to work in Zambia.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence in vendor negotiations and stakeholder reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in an early-stage environment where processes may still be evolving, while building the required structure.

Additional Advantages

• Experience in property technology (PropTech), real estate, online marketplaces or financial services.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or a similar project management qualification.
• A network within Zambia's business, real estate or technology sectors.
• Startup experience.
• Familiarity with no-code or low-code platforms such as Bubble.io.

• Monthly Salary: ZMW 12,000–18,000, depending on experience.
