The Role

Africa’s Gate Zambia is looking for a hardworking, reliable and experienced Water Sachet Machine Operator to join its production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the water sachet packaging machine.
• Ensure smooth and continuous production.
• Monitor packaging quality and sachet sealing.
• Check water sachet quantities and packaging standards.
• Carry out basic machine cleaning and routine checks.
• Report machine faults and production problems promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe production area.
• Follow all production, hygiene and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a water sachet or packaging machine is an advantage.
• Good understanding of production processes.
• Physically fit and able to work shifts.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Good attention to detail.
• Must be willing to follow company procedures.

The Role

The Sales & Distribution Executive will be responsible for developing sales and distribution strategies, expanding markets, managing customers and distribution channels, and supporting the achievement of sales and distribution targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and distribution strategies.
• Identify new customers and expand existing markets.
• Manage distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key clients.
• Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets.
• Coordinate product deliveries and ensure efficient distribution.
• Monitor stock levels and market demand.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct market visits and monitor competitor activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Work closely with production, logistics and finance teams.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate minimum.
• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in sales and distribution, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be results-oriented, energetic and self-motivated.
• Valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.
