1. Who We Are and Scope of This Policy
ENB Enterprise acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy, meaning we determine the purposes and means of processing that data. Where we work with third-party service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, hosting, analytics, or payment providers), those providers act as data processors under our instructions and are bound by appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
This Policy covers five groups of stakeholders who interact with ENB Enterprise, each addressed in its own section below:
- Employers — businesses and organisations posting vacancies or sourcing talent.
- Job Seekers — individuals seeking employment, training, or career opportunities.
- Advertisers — businesses running promotional campaigns on our platform.
- Publishers — content and distribution partners.
- General Visitors — anyone browsing enbenterprise.com without registering.
2. Our Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
We only process personal data where we have a valid legal basis to do so. Depending on the activity, this may be:
- Consent — you have given clear, informed, and freely given permission (for example, sharing your CV with a specific employer).
- Contract — processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested (for example, matching you to a job you applied for).
- Legal obligation — we must process data to comply with Zambian law or another applicable regulation.
- Legitimate interest — processing is reasonably necessary for our operations (for example, fraud prevention or service improvement) and does not override your rights and freedoms.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our Services, and support essential site functionality. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can manage or withdraw cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.
8. How We Share Personal Data
We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data only in the following circumstances:
- With your explicit consent — for example, sharing a job seeker’s CV with a specific employer.
- With trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under written confidentiality and security obligations (for example, hosting or communication platforms such as WhatsApp).
- To comply with a legal obligation, court order, or lawful request from a competent authority.
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of ENB Enterprise, our users, or the public, in line with applicable law.
- As anonymised or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you (for example, in market or performance reports).
9. International Data Transfers
Because ENB Enterprise connects users across Zambia and internationally, personal data may occasionally be transferred to, stored, or processed in countries other than your own. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection, consistent with the Zambia Data Protection Act’s requirements for cross-border transfers and, where applicable, GDPR safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections.
10. How We Protect Your Data

- Limited access — only trained personnel with a legitimate business need may access sensitive data.
- Regular audits — we continually review and improve our security practices and safeguards.
