Surya Developers and Infrastructure Limited is looking for qualified professionals to join its team in Lusaka on a full-time, permanent basis.

The company is recruiting for the following positions:

• Automotive Mechanic
• Land Surveyor
• Draftsman
• Auto Electrician

1. Automotive Mechanic

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Lusaka

Role Overview

• Diagnose, repair and service vehicles, including engines, brakes and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Craft Certificate, Diploma in Automotive Mechanics, or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic and repair tools.
• A valid driver's licence is preferred.
• Membership of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).

2. Auto Electrician

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Lusaka

Role Overview

• Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems and wiring faults.
• Install, maintain and test vehicle electrical components using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Craft Certificate, Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an auto electrician.
• Skilled in using multimeters, diagnostic tools and wiring diagrams.
• A valid driver's licence is an advantage.
• Membership of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).

3. Draftsman

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Lusaka

Role Overview

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings for buildings and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on designs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering or Architecture from a recognised institution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar CAD software.
• Three or more years of drafting experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Membership of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).

4. Land Surveyor

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Lusaka

Role Overview

• Conduct land and boundary surveys using total stations and GNSS/GPS equipment.
• Prepare accurate survey reports, maps and topographic data.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams on site development projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Land Surveying or Geomatics.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in land surveying.
• Knowledge of GPS/GNSS, surveying software and data analysis.
• A valid driver's licence is an advantage.
