We Are Hiring | HR Lead

My Perfect Stitch Limited is looking for a proactive, experienced and results-driven HR Lead to strengthen our people function and support our growing bags, furniture and interior design operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, workforce planning and onboarding.
• Drive performance management, goal setting and employee reviews.
• Manage employee relations, grievances and disciplinary processes fairly and professionally.
• Identify training needs and coordinate employee development.
• Maintain HR policies and support compliance with Zambian labour law.
• Administer leave and benefits, and provide accurate HR inputs for payroll.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly HR reports, highlighting results, gaps and risks.
• Support organisational planning and keep job descriptions up to date.

What We Are Looking For

• A degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years’ experience in an HR generalist or HR lead role.
• Professional HR certification, such as ZIHRM, CIPD or equivalent, is preferred.
• Experience building or improving HR systems; SME, manufacturing or retail experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and Zambian employment legislation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to prepare and present data-driven HR reports.
• Sound judgment, effective communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• High levels of confidentiality, integrity and accountability.
• Ability to work independently and provide practical advice to management.
