The International Hospital of Zambia is inviting applications from highly motivated and qualified individuals for the positions of Optometrist and Cashiers.

1. Optometrist (1 Position)

Minimum Requirements

• A degree in Optometry from a recognised institution.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience as an optometrist.
• Valid HPCZ professional registration and current practising licence.
• Proficiency in refraction testing, the detection of ocular conditions, and the provision of appropriate optometric treatment.
• Competence in operating ophthalmic equipment.
• Experience in operating lens cutting, edging and fitting equipment for the production of prescription eyeglasses will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering quality patient care.

2. Cashiers (2 Positions)

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of a certificate in Accounting or Finance.
• At least one year of experience as a Cashier or in a front-desk role, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Strong numerical, computer and customer service skills.
• Ability to accurately process payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily collections.
• Proficiency in the use of POS systems and billing software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High standards of honesty, confidentiality, and accountability.
